Horrible management, residents are made to listen to staff complaining about management all day long. Take your loved one elsewhere.

My mom, a veteran, was recently relocated here after suffering from a major seizure after being on life support. Was told by the VA social worker and staff at this location that her stay was covered for her time she was there. Not only was she unhappy during her stay but clothing came up missing and she was denied basic things like a glass of ice water! Really??? Is it so hard to bring that to someone in your care? I have been a nursing home resident for 18 years, and during that period I have lived in 4 different places. But it wasn't until I came here did my health finally improve. The staff here are very caring and respectful towards the residents, and when it comes to activities, this place Rocks! We go out to eat, go fishing, to the casino, brick town, and lots more. I had my mother here and pulled her out because I kept finding bruises on her. She told me someone was hurting her at night. I told the staff. They didn't do anything. I reported it and nothing came out of it. Also the place smells horrible at times. They only clean when they know they are being reviewed. My mother's room mate died and before she did the staff didn't show any concern. It was a no for me.
