I was seen quickly for triage, registration, and vitals after presenting with significant pain due to kidney issues. However, the doctor left me waiting in the waiting room for four hours after ordering a CT scan without addressing my the pain. Once I was seen it was suggested by both the nurse and doctor that I could have been given pain medications prior to being seen, but instead I was left crying and vomiting until the stone passed into my bladder. He made me feel so safe & comfortable with my wrist injury. He also had a sense of urgency that brought me much comfort. The entire staff did last night to be fair. I can’t thank them enough for their help & comfort while I dealt with something so traumatic.

Dr. Davenport was amazing and so were the residents that were working with him. They were kind and caring during a very scary time. He took the time to fully explain the procedures I needed in the emergency room, even though they were at a very high patient capacity. I wish I could give him a big hug and thank him for all he did!

It was a very traumatizing experience for me. I got to witness a person dying next to where I was staying. I didn’t go to where the pregnant women go to. I felt like they weren’t taking my requests serious. And they took a long time for nothing and I got hurt really bad 2 times from lack of listening to me.
