The Dr was cool. It was the nurses that were very rude and disrespectful me and my daughter went to the er at night. We left at 5am. The nurses were gossiping all night complaining.. talking about me and my baby skin the reason we came in. She said yeah i went back there and seen them they have a nasty case it grossed me out. I was seen quickly for triage, registration, and vitals after presenting with significant pain due to kidney issues. However, the doctor left me waiting in the waiting room for four hours after ordering a CT scan without addressing my the pain. Once I was seen it was suggested by both the nurse and doctor that I could have been given pain medications prior to being seen, but instead I was left crying and vomiting until the stone passed into my bladder. Dr Davenport has a wonderful bedside demeanor. He was empathetic and truly made both patient and family present feel at ease. He was very thorough and explained both procedures, results and answered any concerns and inquiries in layman's terms for us not medically terminology inclined. Dr Davenport is the kind of physician you want when in the ER.
Dr. Davenport attended to me at Loyola’s emergency room. He was extremely helpful in assessing my condition and possible immediate care step to resolve my bleeding. He was friendly and compassionate as well effective. I recommend him without any reservations. John P. Cormack
Dr. Davenport was amazing and so were the residents that were working with him. They were kind and caring during a very scary time. He took the time to fully explain the procedures I needed in the emergency room, even though they were at a very high patient capacity. I wish I could give him a big hug and thank him for all he did!
