Julian did a marvelous job fixing my garage door. Turned out the spring broke and the cables were extremely twisted. Despite the poor support from my Choice home warranty (not covering the job), Julian took great care of me. Highly recommend Winston Garage doors for any future garage door issues.
This review is for the Oregon Division of the company as I want to be fair. I see that this company services many states but particularly for Portland OR the tech was terrible.What a joke. My experience with them was a complete disaster, from overcharging me for a subpar product to performing shoddy installation that left me worse off than before. I originally contacted them to fix a common issue: my garage door wasn’t closing properly, likely due to a sensor problem. I want to be clear that this review is only for Winston, it's not for First American Home Warranty, which totally ripped me off and not for the first time. First American Home Warranty used to be a pretty good company although they always slipped in charges for modifications that weren't necessary and that they don't tell you about when you get the warranty. *Never ever get a home warranty prepaid*, always pay month to month is my advice because most of these companies are out to rip you off.
