Compassionate, very thorough, and most importantly, gets her patients feeling better. I have had multiple issues which she has helped me with and it has been truly life-changing. Dr. Acevedo-Santiago is probably one of the best doctors that I have ever worked with, and seeing as I have had dozens of specialist doctors since I was 17 years of age. I would highly recommend her to eceryone. She is a doctor who spends time with her patients, explains things to them, and discusses the different treatment options. She cares about her patients and has always made me feel heard.
Dr. Acevedo-Santiago listens carefully, presents options fully, and takes a whole systems perspective in responding to my needs as a patient. That's a rare thing in a Western physician. I've also found her to be very personable, wise, and compassionate. I'm very grateful to have her as part of my care team.
Dr is so compassionate and smart. She keeps trying different approaches Until she finds what works. I think the world of her.
