Dr Yara is a blessing. She is a gift from God. She makes our world a better place.
Collaborative and helpful, willing to work together with patients on a treatment plan. I'm a pretty well-educated consumer, and this physician was a very good experience
I am a satisfied patient. Dr. Fardous is young, talented, assertive and very observant. I lucked out with this one. I have a few ailments and she is on top of them all. Whenever I have an appointment with a different specialist, even out of network; she's made aware and follows-up. She's the doctor I've always waited. I didn't expect anything less coming from Wayne State University.
She is kind, caring, and a good listener. She believes you when you tell her what you feel. She gave me a referral to a Urologist when my previous primary care wouldn't. Turns out I had a big kidney stone that needed surgery. Dr.Fardous leaves no stone unturned when it comes to your mental or physical health. I wish there were many more Doctors like her. She truly wants to help you. I feel so fortunate to have found such a good Doctor.?
Excellent doctor. She takes the time to listen and work through your symptoms. Very compassionate and is willing to work with you on a plan. Highly recommend Dr. Fardous if you are in search of a primary care physician in the area. Best doctor I have ever encountered.
Excellent doctor. Listens and takes you seriously. Go to her if you can!
2 very important things: she listens to you, and she wants to figure out why you are sick and help you get better. Specialists at top hospitals were dismissing me with vague diagnoses of fibromyalgia, and it turns out I have a serious autoimmune disorder that's destroying my kidneys and major blood vessels. Dr. Fardous wouldn't let it rest, and wouldn't accept my suffering as ok. She pushed and pushed, and I am getting life-saving treatment because of her. I am so grateful. RUN to Dr. Fardous!
I had a really negative experience, which was disappointing because I read so many good reviews. She made reccomendations based on assumptions and without collecting all the pertinent information (luckily it wasn’t a medical emergency, but would she do the same if it was?!). And she was insensitive. It was very clear she lacks training around certain issues. Maybe it was an off day but it was very upsetting and I am certainly not returning.
She does not trust colleagues that specialize in pain management, she told me, "no one has ever died from lack of pain meds". I didn't die, but I believe from falling, fracturing my skull because of weakness and pain from lack of pain meds. Losing sense of smell and taste has been a big deal to me. Quality of my life stinks right now, I am hurt, I trusted and loved her, she turned on me with no warning, real reason. Blocked me out of my patient portal! Possible cover-up? So disappointed.
