Do not go here or put your family here. It's not a legitimate rehab. The clinical classes are hours, mainly focused on one or two clients....tons of joking around and maybe 20 minutes of actual class. They have a short staff who doesn't make much. The staff sits on their phones non stop...talking to women, or checking social media. You stay on one floor most of the time and there's one TV. There's very little structure. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Yonder Behavioral Health in Berea, KY! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported by the entire staff. Austin Hemze was the first person I interacted with and he was supportive and a positive influence. He took the time to find the best treatment for me and ensured my transition was smooth. If I could give it less stars I would. The place is filthy. My clothes were " lost " staff wouldn't listen. It's a trap house for people that have no choice because their probation officer sent them there. I had spoiled milk in the room I was supposed to be in, tobacco all over the window seal. Roommate left boxers on the sink. Showers are disgusting. Not they promise it to be.

As an interventionist, I am always seeking out facilities where I can send clients after an intervention. I have sent more than a few clients with Medicaid to Yonder, and the client care was excellent. The communication with admissions to get them into treatment was amazing. This is a key component when you are trying to get a loved one into a facility. After following up with my clients during their stay, the feedback was super positive. Thank you, Yonder, for being a great resource to me and my clients' families.
