For the most part we use the Brown’s Bay location when we boat on Minnetonka Lake. The regular staff members are fantastic, led by Trevor, and the members that rotate through are good as well. We’ve worked with a couple of young ladies late in the season that have been top notch. I would say parking is a challenge at this location. They need to make the two car spots longer so they need to move east into the lawn. On busy weekends the staff really needs to dedicate someone to move cars into spots.
We celebrated my boyfriends birthday here recently and had a great experience! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Trevor and Tom assisted us and made sure we were well informed and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back.
Entitled high school brats make for abysmal employees—especially in customer service. Not a single courtesy, greeting, or welcome was offered. Instead, I had the privilege of watching two teens play petty power games with guests, instructing us to park, then re-park, then move again. I personally had to move my car three separate times just to satisfy their lack of coordination. We LOVE Your Boat Club!!!! We joined in August and have already been out 6 times! :) it has been nothing short of a great experience! Abby , Tom, Leighton, Sam, EVERY boat crew member has surpassed our expectations. Truly. I love how you can get a boat any morning of the week and you can have reservations for nights and weekends.
