Set a reservation a month ago, and then was called today, day of the reservation that it was cancelled by Your Boat Club due to weather. No issue there, but then instead of a refund, we received store credit. As our whole group travelled from 3+ hours away, we have nothing to spend store credit on that would be equivalent. It’s shady business practice to cancel an existing reservation (we did not choose to cancel), and then not provide a valid refund. Went here and rented a pontoon for my birthday. Had to wait 30 plus minutes from them to go from one pontoon to another because of the troubles they were having. They are very overpriced, went to another place the day after and they were half the price! Ridiculous! You have no option of renting for just a couple hours or anything. Full morning or full evening...
The pontoon was in perfect condition, extraordinarily clean, had all the bells and whistles; great sound system, depth finder, and more. Helpful and polite staff! Carefree fun!
They over booked for the weekend. we showed up with the boat & ready to go. the canceled on us and then told us to use the public launch. The public slips they told us to use do not allow over night parking. Thanks
kids working the docks abusing customers boats and flying in the harbor in a closed throttle zone... beautiful boats banging off the dock because these clowns can't be respectful.... bad for business... bad for public docks.... and bad for the community....... they told me to dock somewhere else and i'm also recommending you do as well
