I am thrilled that my daughter feels safe at the Retreat. Now, if you are considering it because of the gym, DON'T. Most of the treadmills are broken and the weight machines have broken cables. It is also very dirty. The golf simulator also rarely works. As for maintenance, there's another problem. Who ever manages how and when repairs are done should be evaluated. My daughter had to live with a beeping fire alarm for 48 hrs, doesn't sound that bad but let me tell you it's is hard to sleep and study with the beeping. Not... read more
Took a tour with Alyssa. She was absolutely amazing! Very sweet! So personable, very thorough, answered all our questions. Even remembered speaking with my husband a week and half ago. Showed us everything on property that we were interested in!
I would strongly advise anyone considering living at The Retreat at Kennesaw to think NOT. My experience here has been extremely frustrating. Maintenance constantly nitpicks the smallest things, yet when it comes to actually fixing real issues, nothing gets handled properly or in a timely manner. They are quick to charge residents for anything they claim is “damaged,” but slow to take responsibility for ongoing problems in the units. I loved living here my freshman year. Great staff and nice apartments and amenities. It is definitely overpriced I have to say. Recommend experiencing it once at least and then moving somewhere bigger and cheaper. Rooms and bathrooms are not really huge here. Overcharging for sure
I lived here for my freshman year and i can’t say I have too many complaints. Aside from the gym equipment being broken all year, my car being broken into, and the obscene rent prices, my experience hasn’t been too bad. The amenities (besides the gym) are nice and having a B.O.B bus stop has been super convenient. The management is making obvious strides to improve the quality of life here and as a resident i can appreciate that.
