I came in for a consult to get multiple lipomas removed. Dr Silk immediately told me no and that my tumors weren't a serious enough problem and that it was "cosmetic" surgery so insurance wouldn't cover it. I told him I'd already had many removed and that it HAD been covered, and I simply had more to go. His response was "then go back to where you got them taken out before". He was rude, dismissive, and treated me like I had done something wrong by coming. This was a truly disgusting experience.

Disgusting doctor. Absolutely the most incompetent doctor we have ever seen. Do not go there. Unless you want to be missed diagnosed. Shame on him.

This surgeon took on the job of performing a plastic surgery (gynecomastia) which I felt like based off of my referral to him and his confidence in performing the procedure that I would have had a positive outcome. I did not. The surgery in my eyes was a failed attempt at removing the tissue. The surgeon also refused to reperform the procedure and offered no help for me with continuing to get past and remove the condition.
