I love this restaurant. As a vegetarian married to a carnivore, the menu has many options for both of us. Sadly, I am leaving the Los Angeles area so I just had my last meal at Hugo's . . . for the time being. The only disappointing thing is that they took my favorite meal off the menu. So Hugo's management . . PLEASE reinstate the vegan reuben!! Our server said you've gotten lots of feedback requesting it. Hopefully it will be back next time I visit LA.

Very impressed by this restaurant's ambience "weekend vibe," customer service, and culinary. The portions could be shared, and wow, the breakfast option could be celebrated, very familiar tastes, and cool authentic renditions. The chilquilas turkey sausage scramble, hit the spot. And this place can make some good hotel like pancakes, with dark, good, maple syrup (almost can't use it all, too rich). People do pull up in the benz's and mazi's for a posh breakfast. And surprisingly the menu is affordable! Good job Hugo's!

Amazing customer service and food. Got seated right away on a Monday afternoon. Plates are about $20 per person. Maybe a little more or less. Is it worth it, absolutely. Will definitely come back again. However this is an American dinning, if it says it's spicy. It really isn't. But it's good and worth a try.
