Overall, great stay. Breakfast was excellent - more than continental. Check in was a little clumsy as the ‘front’ desk is actually in a separate bldg and the clerk had to check 3 separate groups in at the same time and then walk us all to our bldgs and rooms. Seems like they need an additional person working the check in area during peak times (this was ~5pm).
We loved Zelda's! Great location! The room was comfortable, and we slept great in the bed. The complimentary breakfast was perfect. We also enjoyed watching the 4th of July fireworks outside in the courtyard. They do have a ramp, but if you are uncomfortable with stairs, you should call to get a lower-level room.

Zelda Dearest felt like a cross between a hotel and a B&B, and we totally enjoyed our stay, Our room was one of the best we have ever experienced (I’m a room snob), and the breakfast was phenomenal (Vege Frittata, chocolate banana bread, blueberry muffins, biscuits and jam, overnight oats, berries, yogurt, OJ). I’ve done both, and I much preferred the self parking over the other hotels’ valet-only option. Lovely historic homes transformed into unique modern hotel rooms! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walkable to so much of downtown restaurants, shops & breweries. Very clean with plenty of amenities. Breakfast included was delicious every day. Helpful staff. Nice outdoor seating area. We lived our stay in Asheville at Zelda Dearest!
