Update: Before writing this review, I did contact the clinic to share my experience. Today I received a message from my doctor apologizing for the mixup. I wanted to update this to give my physician credit where it’s due. I absolutely loved my first appointment with my doctor and this review is a reflection of the clinic itself, not the physician. A while back I left 3 voicemails to cancel an appointment before the cut off, they then denied my appointment request so I had to call and book oh well not a big deal, then the receptionist was rude and tried to tell me I would need to talk to the manager. I didn’t. Fast forward 2 appointments, and the receptionist keeps calling me after they close to tell me to call back???? I finally get ahold of them. They give me 0 information. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this clinic today. From the lovely receptionist to the lady that took my height, weight and blood pressure, and Nurse Practitioner Jenna, I couldn’t have asked for a better healthcare appointment. Nurse Practitioner Jenna is not only personable with great bedside manner, she is also thorough and cares a great deal about your peace of mind. I am very thankful that I have found this place.
I was originally with Dr. Chow at this practice and she was okay. The appointments are very short bookings meaning that you barely have time to discuss any issue and everything is rushed. I have never had my weight measured, blood pressure taken, or any basic checks done - unless you specifically ask for something to be checked, prepare to sit and talk about your symptoms for a couple of minutes then get a prescription or referral. It’s hard to rate because my experience with Dr Olateju is amazing, she is a wonderful doctor, I truly appreciate her so much. She is very caring and does not rush you, after seeing so many doctors the last few years I can honestly say she has been the most positive experience. But unfortunately the clinic is having some issues with their phone lines and administration.
