This product is not worth the money!! This product is really a piece of junk. It has not worked properly since we purchased it in 2023. We have replaced the diaphragm for the unit (6) times already at $40.00 a piece.... It keeps cracking because it is made out of plastic.We know it is out of warranty. Just wanted others to know it is not worth the money.
Bummed! I have not had it quite a year and the parts have already broken down. Absolutely loved it while it worked. I know the bladder may need to be changed periodically dt a tear, but the part that screws together, the thread all broke/wore off so I cannot put back together. I have salt water pebble tec so not a lot of harsh chemicals.
No good against leaves. My pool will see a light to moderate amount of leaf debris from a nearby lemon tree. This cleaner mostly nudges them around or "chokes" on them (stuck in the diaphragm so it stops moving).When comparing with the Zodiac MX6, it was hard to get a clear answer on how it would perform against leaves. I presumed based on reviews that this would be less likely to get stuck on them owing to fewer moving parts. Didn't work well on my pool This was a proper functioning pool vacuum using pool suction vent. But it kept getting stuck at the stairs so I returned if they was smoking I was doing wrong I could get assistance to fix it. I'm going to buy a robot pool vac instead
Not performing well Instructions for initial assembly absolutely suck. It’s not complicated but the directions made it appear so. We finally just figured it out in our own and verified afterwards. Not the end of the world.Bigger issue now is that it will only clean half of our pool. East half is sparkling, so it’s capable but it avoids the west half like the plague. I drag it over and it goes straight to the other half. Have never had this issue.This thing could be great but I need to get that figured out or replace it.
Clogs easily Not very impressed with this pool cleaner. Bought it about 7 months ago. I used to have an MX6 tracked version that lasted about 3-4 years but wanted to try the G3 since it had a higher review rating. The G3 is temperamental with the pool pump and valve settings to get the speed right. It clogs very easily with leaves to the point where I am frustrated enough to buy the MX6 again. That one would never clog from leaves. Only thing that would clog it was sticks, which was very infrequent.
Clogs easily on leaves It easily clogs and stops working. It stopped after sucking up a leaf. Then the next day it was a small berry. Then the 3rd day it was another leaf. Not worth the hassle of having to take it out of the pool every time and unclog it. My last cleaner had zero issues clogging.
Loves to Get Stuck in Ladders - Would not Recommend It works, but if you have a ladder that sticks out from the wall, it will absolutely jam itself in the ladder. I've spent hundreds of dollars buying the ladder shields to prevent this and, it manages to find new ways to get stuck. Customer service says buy the shields. Now it gets stuck behind the shields. Would not recommend. Half baked design. Useless customer service.
Don’t bother. I’m trying not to buy another dang vacuum but I have to give up on this unit. Too late to return. In the trash it goes. I can run this for days and I have a dirty pool. Won’t touch sidewalls
