Gets stuck on EVERYTHING multiple times each day This gets stuck in one place, such as on the ladder, steps, bottom drain, return jets, plugged jets, the pool light, etc. It will stay there for hours if not manually rescued. As a result, I'm unable to run this when I'm away from home. I'm giving it a second star because it does clean fairly well, but misses some areas of the pool. I will not recommend it to friends :-/

Not for "L" shape pools To summarize, I don't recommend the G3 for "L" shaped swimming pools.The cleaner gets stuck at the stairs or at the corner of the "L" every 15-30 minutes, which is a huge hassle. I tried the tips from the technical team, but without success.I genuinely think this is could be good cleaner, just not for my pool shape. 2 I bought my 3rd one in 24 years and this one only lasted 18 months! My pool guy said it can’t be fixed, so disappointed.
Good cleaner...bad instructions Yes, it takes days/weeks to get the unit functioning properly. For me, I have a dedicated suction port which apparently was excessive in suction as the cleaner would get stuck on my steps everyday. Eventually I throttled the suction port down by opening up slightly the weir return. Now it works like it should. Instructions are bad, as I have read several times by other reviewers. Awesome, Effective, Time Saving, Miraculous! . Recognize that I was skeptical about the G3 because there are devices that cost 8-10 times as much as this device. This Baracuda G3 is sooooooo awesome I was literally stunned at how well it worked. I truly mean stunned; fascinated, standing on the pool deck watching it work. I was mesmorized!
