Dependable with some flaws Had for over a year now. Pool vac goes in a predictable pattern, it is not random. Cleans about 70% of the pool, the rest I have to brush by hand. Have had no problems with it mechanically, very simple operation mechanical wise. Have not had to replace any parts on it were as my old pool vacuum was a Hayward which after the first year I was constantly replacing worn out parts. Main complaint with pool vac is that it doesn't do a random pattern in the pool.

Great for deep pools It took some time for me to really like this pool cleaner. Our pool has been under construction for months (fiberglass pool) and the bottom of the pool was layered in dirt and rocks by the time we were able to fill the entire pool and install the cleaner. At first we had a lot of problems because the cleaner would run for a short time and then just stop moving. 1.5 year solution. Replacing the diaphragm more than expected. has lost some color after 1.5 years and doesn't get all areas of the pool even after 8hrs. Amazing price for the job that it does but will likely upgrade to a more expensive model with different mechanics.

it is a great pool cleaner our second BARCAUDA, it is a great pool cleaner.
Without a doubt - this is the one to get. Hands down this automatic pool cleaner is the best design I've found. Has very few parts - super easy to replace parts as they wear - and it simply works. I'm impressed and recommend this cleaner over the "standard" Hayward cleaner.
