Nicely built and replacement parts are inexpensive. I purchased this as a replacement for our 10+ year old Baracuda G3. Performance was the same as the old and it does a wonderful job of keeping the bottom of our pool clean. I recommend adding some sort of a leaf catcher to hose since this thing will pick up anything on the bottom of the pool including rocks, twigs, acorns, action figures and other objects effortlessly. This was a purchase to replace our old G3. ... This was a purchase to replace our old G3. It works very well. The only downside to the Baraduca is the diaphragm sometimes chokes on an acorn and stops working. If one doesn't have oak trees close-by the pool, there wouldn't be such a problem.

Baracuda G3 W03000 Advanced Suction Side Automatic Pool Cleaner Bought it for my mother to replace her old Baracuda. It comes with connecting sections of hose and does a great job sweeping and cleaning the walls and flooring of the pool whenever the pool filtering is running. The unit is very expensive, but worth it. What I like is the price I get from Amazon. She's been in her house for 25 years, and this is her third unit, so they lasted about 12 years each.
