Five Stars Wonderful product!
works well I've grown to like it. The key is to not have too much suction on the unit. In other words, if you can control how much suction is coming from the skimmer, turn it down to around 50%. Too much and it will twist itself into knots. 40-50% it works very well.
Worth every penny This is our second Baracuda cleaner. We wore out the previous one over the past 3 years. It ran everyday, up to 8 hours at a time. We did replace some parts when necessary. I would not buy another brand as this one does it all. Once we have it connected to the system we just let it do it's thing. There are some trees that hang over into our backyard and litter the pool when the wind blows. Outstanding I have had two G3 Baracuda units prior to this one, but this one seems to work more efficiently. It is fun to watch how fast it moves across the bottom of the pool. I guess it is the Advanced Suction function.
Baracuda Works! After reading the reviews of the Baracuda I decided to try it for our 10,000 gallon in-ground pool. It really does work! When assembling it I thought the guard wheel had to "attach" tightly to something -- but it really just sets there and spins as it goes along -- keeping it from getting stuck. luv it!! no more manual vac for me! installed in about 10 minutes couldnt be easier. after reading some reviews I thought i might need to purchase a swivel elbow attatchment so the vac wouldnt get caught up in corners or stairs................so far so good no need. this amazing vac climbs the walls, is quiet, and comes with plenty of hose, just watch set up video on zodiac site and had no problems. oh yeah, they even have a lil gadget to help you check the suction settings . my pool is not enclosed and I live at the beach, ... read more
Outperforms my Hayward... Having had used this product for few weeks now, I don't see how this product can get stuck anywhere. My former vacuum was Hayward which got stuck all the time. So much so that I had to manually vacuum the floor 1-2 times a week. I got tired of it and decided to try this unit out.
