Replaced another G3 - still love them I've used the G3 for my old in ground pool for many years. I was disappointed that the G3 seems to be discontinued, with my local pool store suggesting one that costs about twice the price, which is nice - for them. I ordered this one from Amazon - via Prime - came as advertised - new in the box. I hooked it up and it was running in five minutes. Best pool cleaner Works wonderfully.. we had the original Baracuda for 10 years and now the G3 model. Expecting the same results. Leave it in pool and we have ours on a timer and pool always clean.
Best deal! Finally had to replace my original Baracuda pool vac that was ten years old. This Baracuda G3 is the new version of my original so I'm very satisfied with how it works. The best part is that by making this purchase from Amazon.com, I saved $200 rather than buying it from my local pool supply store.

Great product! Just moved in to a home with an in-ground vinyl pool. Researched different brands and models for several weeks and landed on the Baracuda G3 because of reviews - both Amazon and others. Very happy - "Hazel" accomplishes the task in under four hours. Had a bit of a problem with the hose getting stuck in the step area when using the vacuum port. Moved the suction connection to the skimmer, mid-way in the pool and "she" works fine. Great cleaner We have had this before. Not much to it when it comes to parts and it does a fabulous job. Came very quickly in the mail.
The lazy mans way to keep the pool clean I have owned two of these in ten years, I think it is well worth the money, there is only one moving part in it, if you can call it that. It's a diaphragm made of rubber. It makes a slapping sound while in motion in the water. It works very well cleaning or keeping the pool clean. I live in Florida, I have a pool and never use it. Best pool cleaner This is my second Baracuda , my first one lasted 11years. I would never purchase or recommend any one who is looking for an inground pool cleaner , to purchase anything but the Baracuda . My pool is is a 10 ft, diving pool my Baracuda keeps the walls & floor spotless!!
