Great Cleaner Just bought my second G3, My first one came with the house when we bought it, and appeared to be several years old, so with the five years since we bought the house, it is probably 8 to 10 years old. Replaced the diaphragm twice, the skirt once, and the pad once, all relatively inexpensive. Housing finally cracked, but it has worked so well over the years, I went straight to buy another. Great piece of equipment! The purchase of this G3 was worth the money, for it has made my life a lot easier and has helped me getting my wife off my back because of the dirty pool. This piece goes up the walls and up the steps also.It is low maintenance and very efficient.
Actually does climb walls I got this because it was lower cost then other auto pool vacs and figured I pay for weekly service anyway, but I was surprised to see that this unit works better than the older one I had which had 3 wheels. This one really climbs the walls.
Great Product! (For the week that I had it) That's right, it's SO nice that people come right into your yard and steal it. Be sure you lock yours up and enjoy it for longer then I did. If you know anyone who got one for free lately congratulate them for their excellent choice in stolen pool cleaners and punch them in the face for me. Thanks Amazon, for letting me vent. Better than kreepy krauly I had used the kreepy krauly for over 20 years and it always performed perfectly. Always kept the pool completely clean and the parts lasted for a very long time until everything was worn out. I ordered a new one and my suction power that always ran the old kreepy would not make the new kreepy work at all. I tried the new kreepy in my neighbors pool and it did function fine but I borowed my neighbor's baracuda g3 to try in my pool and it performed great. Better than spending 1000.00+ for a bot 4 stars because of the time it took me to tweak. Initially it spent most of its time up on the walks. Finally after 3 days of walking by and adjusting the return jets, I added another section of hose. That worked. Doesn't get up on the steps so I just brush them off and let the vac get it.
Great Discovery! Thanks to the reviews of others I took the leap and am I glad I did! This product works really, really well. I love that it removes algae so it saves me time brushing. It's amazing how much better it works then my Navigator.
