So easy to set up and run. I love everything about it. The first pool cleaner I owned was a Baracuda. I now must get a guard so it doesn't keep getting hooked on the pool ladder.

Best purchase ever! We had been pricing pool sweeps for months before we purchased this one. The price was a couple hundred dollars less than we found elsewhere and we can't believe how well it works. Weve had it now for about 7 months for a below-ground pool. Hard to beat the quality and price My first Baracuda lasted over 10 years with several days of use per week year round with replacement of the diaphragm as the only maintenance item. Based on that I didn't really consider any other product although I did read the reviews of competitors. Great Cleaner for the Right Pool This is our 4th Barracuda over the past 25+ years. We purchased our first at a home that we sold shortly afterward. We were happy enough with it to spec the G3 for our new pool. That one lasted about 10 years before we replaced it with the higher priced (by almost 30%) G4 Barracuda. After 8 Years of Service - I am very happy I have a large pool - 40x20 with a maximum depth of 9'. Having little experience with pools at the time, I took the advice of my father in law, a NASA engineer, who simply stated - the fewer moving parts the better. Barracuda We've had one for years but finally needed a new one. At the pool store we were told this model was being discontinued. . We purchased a Kreepy krawler type cleaner. Returned it two weeks later, no comparison to the barracuda as far as cleaning. We searched the Internet and found one on Amazon thankfully at a very reasonable price. Not sure what we will do once these are out of stock! It really does a great job in shallow and deep end!
Great pool cleaner Have used this product before and it need replacing. Went with same as I had as I had no problems with it for 7 years or more.
