So Far so Good, but some questions Working ok so far, but I'm mystified how I get it started once it stops walking on the pool floor. When it stops I'll play with it and eventually get it to walk again, but I can't always repeat it and get it going again on first try.
A good cleaner Does the job well. Like all of these robot cleaners, you have to occasionally tend them (depending on the shape of your pool) so they don't get hung up in corners or on the steps. This one works very well and was a good value.
So far so good! I like this pool cleaner. I was concerned about it being able to clean my pool as it is older and an odd shape (kidney). I was afraid the cleaner would get stuck on the steps or somewhere else. However, I have had no problems so far. This thing is very quiet (which is a nice bonus compared to my last cleaner) and cleans well. It climbs the wall but not all the way up to the water line (I am not sure if this is by design or not). Works Great!!! This is my first time owning a pool. I have been hand vacuuming and was seriously getting tired of it. So, I decided to make the investment and order the BG3. It took me about 15 minutes to sort everything out and attach to my skimmer. This thing went to town. Cleaned my pool in no time!! No mess, no fuss. I love it. Best price I had seen anywhere too.
Great vacuum cleaner So far covers all my pool, every little corner. It does not get stuck on stairs. Is very silent and works fast. My pool was a mess, I had an old barracuda, an original G2, could not find parts for it, old loyal cleaner. Once again Barracuda lives up to it's name. Great product.
Absolutely fantastic! First time user of a pool cleaner. So we bought a Hayward 2025ADV at PxxxPxxx local. It was a disaster. It cleans only bottom of our pool. So we did a thorough research and decided to buy this Barcacuda G3. It took a while for amazon to ship the cleaner. The moment to hit the truth, it worth all the wait. Love it! Excellent pool cleaner. Our pool was clean in one day of cleaning! And, excellent side suction. It cleans all the way on the sides.
Works as expected for suction side cleaner. If you understand how it is supposed to work with realistic expectations, you understand that it works as well as it could. At best a suction side cleaner on a hose will randomly clean your pool. Bias in cleaning occurs due to oversuction, undersuction, part wear, or hose influence. Throw it in the pool as per settings and it cleans the deep end of the pool. Lower the suction below specifications and it cleans the shallow end of the pool.
