Will not handle large leaves or nuts
Been using this for several years and gave up because it cannot handle even small pecans 1/2" without jamming. The narrow slot that makes it pulsate is too easy to jam. Larger leaves such as sycamore and oak will not pass it either unless suction is maximum. I had to go to another unit that did not have the small orifice for pickup. It is hard to get it to cover entire pool without a lot of playing with hose lengths for optimum cleaning patterns. Other that these limits, works fine.

BEST darn pool cleaner I've ever owned!!
I live in South Florida and use my pool all year round. I've owned most of the popular suction random pool cleaners on the market and this one is the best I've owned so far. It not only climbs the walls all the way up to the tiles but it runs horizontally along the walls as well. The hose never gets tangled and it never gets stuck in the corners or over the drain. Very pleased
Very happy with the product. It runs all around the pool and up the sides, even climbs the steps! Only drawback is the fins are so close to the pool floor that leaves about 2" and larger just get pushed around. Overall I am very pleased.
Reliable - Cost effective - low/no maintenance
I've had this pool cleaner for about 6 years (same unit). It's become part of the family - we call her "Ursella" after the Villainess in The Little Mermaid. I have a custom shaped pool with a lot of rounded corners and relatively little depth change. I also have a salt chlorination system. We just replaced our old Hayward pool vac that came with the house/pool with the baracuda. We never liked the hayward but it was easier to attach the vac to the hose if it was left in the pool and we could just swap the vac head for the hayward pool vac so we ran it everyday for the past 2 years. I wish it had broke sooner because the Baracuda is 100x's better. It climbs the walls, does the love seat, and goes from end to end where as the old one just circled in the deep end. I bought the Baracuda G3 pool sweep,to replace an old one I've had for about 8 or 9 years.Old one lasted along time and worked great,so I bought another one. Just a great pool sweep.

It's hard to rate this product. If you already have one and are just looking to replace it, then I give it 5 stars, it's great. Almost half the price what my normal pool store here in Texas charged for a new one!!!. You know what you are getting and this is a the same thing you had just new, it's the real thing.
