My previous pool vacuums regularly got stuck against the pool steps, causing me to have to move it several times a day to get it moving again. My new Zodiac MX8 Elite has solved the problem, as it never gets stuck anywhere in the pool and never causes the hoses to coil. Totally satisfied!

My Zodiac MX8 was good, but could not handle the leaves in the pool, but the new Zodiac MAX is doing a wonderful job, The only issue is having to remove the leaves from the leaf catcher more often.

Not a fan of complex gear operated pool cleaners, but the MX8 was recommended by the pool replastering company with 50 years of experience. His suggestion was to run it at the slowest possible speed to reduce wear and still clean the pool. I have three live oak trees overhanging my pool, and it is leaft season. The MX8 is actually keeping up with the leaves falling into the pool ,and in combination with the cyclonic leaf trap is actually doing a good job keeping the pool clean (with some netting support). To help prevent the larger debris from jamming, remove the yellow debris inlet to widen the port on the bottom of the cleaner. This should allow larger debris to pass through.
