I bought my first mx8 elite used. Rebuilt it when needed, it always has worked as i needed it to. Just recently I bought the new mx8 elite and it works perfectly. I will say for those who work on thier own, make sure you only use OEM parts.

Works great if there's no debris in the pool. But we have pine trees, and the pine needles in the pool tend to jam it up so it gets stuck. So I have to skim the debris from the bottom of the pool before using it. Then it cleans well, even the walls up to the water line.

I've had an MX6 since 11/21 and I had to change a couple of ball bearings (Cheap and simple) and it started again. It is the best cleaner I've ever had and I've had a few over the past 40+ years. I will keep the MX6 (converted it into an elite) running in the Florida winter for the time being and will start runing thr MX8 Elite sometime in march-april (when the leaves begin to blow).

This cleaner has worked well ever since we placed it in the pool. Our last cleaner was a MX6 and it lasted 9 years of heavy use. I can only hope my new cleaner lasts as long! Great Value for a nice price!

This is an awesome.product ! It never gets stuck at the curve in my stairs given how it tracks. Other older competitive products always got stuck. Not this bad boy. It works like a charm !
