Where have you been all my life? We have been pool owners for 3 years now. A love hate relationship developed between us and our pool. Cleaning it was the downside. Sometimes it's very therapeutic to clean your pool. Most days not so much. We bought the ranger and we also purchased the leaf catcher. Many times we have purchased items and been marginally satisfied. This time I can only say to myself "why in the world didn't we do this 3 years ago?". Four Stars Good pool cleaner.
Does not clean around the edge of the pool. For the area it covered it did great. The downside for me is that it would not go without 8" of the edge of my pool which was a deal breaker for me.
Three Stars Doesn't move around the pool as well as I thought. Misses spots and gets hung up frequently.
Three Stars product works fine but other products outlast this product and replacement parts are expensive
Great cleaner! Very happy with my purchase! I have a large in-ground pool, 15x 40, and my friend's pool guy recommended this one. I thought, "I doubt that this will work well on a diamondbrite regular pool since it says for above ground" but he said "trust me" and I'm glad I did. I saved a ton of money and it works great. Yes, you have to adjust the hoses properly to get full coverage, but that is the same with any cleaner.
