Works with an in-ground pool I have an in-ground pool with deep and shallow ends. This pool cleaner, with the addition of weights from an old pool cleaner, works sufficiently. The pool coverage is good, it travels up walls and it collects debris like leaves. I would buy another one ! This vacuum does all I expected and more. It occasionally gets stuck around the wedding cake stairs, but that's all. It's very effective. The only downside is where to store the separate sections of hose since it can't be stored curled up.
I feel like the instructions could be a bit more clear We have an above ground pool. It seems to work decent. We had a bit of an issue trying to figure out how to attach it. I feel like the instructions could be a bit more clear. But it works better than having to do it by hand.

So far, so good! We love this thing! We debated over getting a manual vacuum, but ain't nobody got time for that. This vacuum reminds us of a sucker fish and does a great job of cleaning the walls as well as the floor of our 24' round above ground pool. The only downfall is that the vacuum doesn't fit around our pool stairs, so we just disconnect the hose from the vacuum head and suck up the stuff on the floor around the ladder. Super easy fix. So far, we love it! I just hope it lasts more than one season!
So far so good better than Hayward So far so good. I had the Hayward aqua bog it broke in a month piece of junk don’t waste your money. The barracuda really nice seems well-made and easy to assemble. Yes it does get stuck a little bit on your ladder but just a quick tug and it’s right back to business. I have a 1 hp pump and it seems to be more than enough suction. I really like the little attachments that go on the skimmer it’s even adjustable depending on your suction

Not perfect but so far so good So far so good. We have used it twice. It does a good job suctioning the pool. It moves all around and on the sides. It kept missing a spot in the middle so my husband got in and guided it there. I think you would need to run it a longer time to get every area of the pool. We plan to run it an hour every other day. It was pretty easy to install once you figure out what pieces you need to hook to your skimmer. The hose is nice.

Dear jjackson, Thank you for the review. If the Ranger is only cleaning the outside perimeter of your pool, reduce the Flowkeeper setting. This will reduce the amount of flow through the cleaner and allow the cleaner to clean the middle section of the pool. Also, ensure the return jets are pointing as far down as possible. This is our second one and the old one seemed to do a better job, so this one may need something adjusted.
