WE used it instantly. We have only used it once before closing our pool for the winter( one overnight clean and we were ready to close). We had a old baracuda some 15 or 20 yrs ago and loved it. We expect to enjoy the service of this unit as well.

Does a great job! I purchased this after my old Baracuda Beta fell apart, it was so old. They no longer make the old one anymore so I purchased the Ranger and it does just as good of a job as my Beta did. Very happy with my purchase and it arrived on time.

Does the work for you! I decided to wait an entire pool season before posting a review. This model did not disappoint one bit! We have a vinyl sided pool and the cleaner would even navigate on to the side of the pool and clean it. It was easy to assemble & hook up. It occasionally would get stuck on the ladder but we learned to remove it during the day while the pool was being cleaned. Very impressive for not a lot of money!
Great vacuum This lil' girl is great! I use it for my Intex above ground pool and it cleans the floor great. Watch out she gets moody and tries to climb out of the pool at times....
Not bad Got this for my mother in laws above ground pool. Works like a charm. Just remember it doesn't climb up the sides of the pool and to make sure to straighten the hose before you put it in the pool
