highly recommended We purchased this to replaced the Polaris above ground pool cleaner. the Polaris only cleaned about 3/4 of the pool. This does the entire pool in about 2 hours even picking up sand from last year that the Polaris never picked up.
"Oh, pool boy!" Yea, I've used this exact item for years on my pool at my old house and during the big move into my new house it was either lost or mistakingly thrown away. So I got on Amazon to search for another one since it worked so well and knew it like the back of my hand and knew how to use it. It was $200.00 cheaper than the one I purchased from my local pool supply store four years ago! So with the savings I went and celebrated at my favorite sports bar that very night!!!

Doesn't work very well for my pool I'm sure the "ranger" works great in round pools but it doesn't do the complete job on my 16x32 oval pool with steps. It vacuums great for about an hour or so and then it gets hung up on my steps and quits working. Probably my fault as I may not have read all the info.
For the money, I like it. For the money I like it. Only thing is it doesn't seem to stay flat to the ground, but it ends up picking up most everything.
Great Cleaner This is the second one I've owned, won't be the last. The last one lasted about 5 years would have lasted longer if I hadn't left it in the pool year round. I did repace the blatter in it but that is to be expected with all the tress around. Great cleaner for the money.
Durable This is a pretty good bottom skimmer. It could use another length or two of hose to reach across my 30 foot above ground pool. You have to get the return water flow in a certain position to get maximum coverage and it may help to move it around periodically to redirect it. It won't replace a brush with suction but it does help in between cleanings.
great pool cleaner Pool cleaner works very well,and there are plenty of hoses to reach the entire pool.Would suggest a in line twister so there is no memory of hoses.
Better than pushing a vacuum. It's okay and saves me time. Since I'm essentially lazy for pool upkeep, this is pretty cool. It does leave spots in the middle and has climbed the wall a couple times, but I can do a quick sweep with the hand vacuum to catch the stuff in the middle. It gets caught on the stairs once in a while, but not often enough to cause a big problem for me. It usually frees itself. We use it in an 18x36 above ground oval with entry steps.
