Jenna did great in school until the 3rd grade. Jenna was having trouble reading, remembering her spelling words, and learning her math facts. As a homeschool parent, I was at the "end of my rope" trying all kinds of different methods to get her math facts and spelling tricks to 'stick" with no success. Reading was arduous and Jenna would leave out words, input extra words, and make up words that she couldn't sound out. We soon had some testing done at another facility and learned that Jenna had Dyslexia. After trying different tutoring programs which didn't work, we decided to try LearningRx. Our initial testing showed there were definite improvements that needed to be made to make learning easier for her. Forward to the end of the Einstein program: Jenna's reading has improved, math has gotten easier and spelling has improved! She now knows all the great things she is capable of doing! I feel like her obstacles have finally been removed and she will now be able to accomplish all that she sets her mind to! more »

My girls (ages 7 & 8 at the time) had an amazing experience at Learning RX. The instructors are all wonderful, caring and incredibly patient. One year later, I now see a great improvement in their attention span, their focus, their memory and the shortened amount of time spent on homework.
I highly recommend this program for all children and adults as well!

We first heard about LearningRx at a homeschool fair, and it seemed like something that could really help Brantley. When we first found out his trainer was going to be a younger guy, we were a bit nervous, but it didn’t take long to figure out that it was a perfect match. Brantley and Michael got along great and talked about things that Brantley loves, like video games. I think one of the main reasons his time here was so successful was because of the connection he had with Michael. Michael would get so excited when Brantley would do well and pass levels that had been hard for him. We could see that he wanted him to succeed just as much as we did. The changes and improvements in him that have come from this are priceless. It really has changed all of our lives for the better. He is more confident and independent in school as well as his everyday life. We will never forget our experience here and the changes it has made in Brantley’s life. more »

We were really desperate to get some help for our 7th grade son who was struggling with attention issues at school. I think the Learning Rx program helped him a lot. He improved in many of the different areas and his self confidence has really gone up. I was really surprised to see what he was able to accomplish by the end of the program.

We chose to do the program that involved doing weekly sessions at home with a parent in addition to the sessions at the center. This option allowed us to save some money. I would be cautious of who I recommended that program over the one where all the sessions are done at the center. . Because of the big time commitment that is involved on the parents' part, I would only recommend it to someone who really had the time and motivation to make it work. It was much more difficult than I had anticipated in terms of what I needed to learn myself, preparing for each home session and also in getting my son to cooperate with me on Saturdays.

However, if I had it to do over again, I would have chosen the parent-assisted program. Others may be better served by having their child go the center for all the sessions if they aren't able to commit the time of the parent-assisted program. On the other hand, I think it is so helpful to have learned more in-depth what the exercises entail since I did the Saturday sessions with my son myself, so I would recommend our program for that reason. For all the sessions at the center, I thought my son's trainer was outstanding and he was a very good match for my son. I'm so glad we went through the program.

Everyone at LearningRX was AMAZING! Long story short...my son went from a 1 to a 9.5 in many area's. Short/Long term memory loss, math, problem solving, self confidence, and independence. The trainers, and the owner were so personable and very much one on one with my son. I would recommend LearningRX to anyone who's child may be having any difficulties in learning or retaining things. more »

My experience at LearningRx was different than I had expected. I initially thought that LearningRx was going to be like a summer school, where I would not have any fun, but as it started, I realized that I had been wrong - It was a fun learning experience. Being in LearningRx really helped me finish all of my summer assignments. The exercises worked my brain and were fun at the same time! Overall, I had a great experience at LearningRx. Kellie was a great trainer! more »

As a family philosophy, we have always educated ourselves about neuroplasticity. We believe that a healthy diet, clean environment, and proper stimulation contribute to good brain health. When we learned about brain training through LearningRx, we were excited about how it may be able to help our son. Although our son has always been an excellent student with good grades, he was challenged with some different types of difficulties in school - he struggled to pay attention in class and work through noise and other distractions. Many days, he would come home from school either forgetting his books, or writing down the wrong assignment. When we first started LearningRx, he said it was really challenging and he didn't think he would ever be able to memorize all presidents forwards, let alone backwards. After 12 weeks of perserverance and great training, he can name all presidents forwards AND backwards. He says that makes him feel "awesome" about himself. He said the class was fun, but sometimes frustrating. He said it was hard to make his brain focus on these tricky tasks. But he got better every week and our son said that he is proud of what he has accomplished in the program. Our son said that he has learned to work through a lot of distractions and feels prepared and excited for the start of his 5th grade school year. We are thrilled to see his progess and witness his confidence. He has memorized his books, assignments, and all school items EVERY day so far in the first three weeks of school. He has a great attitude about going to school. His teacher has already referred to him as an awesome and responsible student. Our son will take these lessons with him, along with a new sense of confidence about himself. LearningRx helped him to realize that with a good plan, a positive attitude and a good work ethic, you can achieve things that at first seem impossible, Great experience overall! And GREAT work by his trainer, Kellie, to bring out his best every week. more »

I graduated from FTHS in 2015, with a 3.9 GPA, I assumed I was well prepared for college, but my second day, I had my first chemistry class. I was completely overwhelmed by the content and realized that my skills were inadequate. I was horrified thinking about continuing college without the proper knowledge and techniques; and failing. I was panicking beyond belief and quickly became so disheartened that I was ready to give up my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. It was then that I was referred to LearningRx by my Nana.
Before I began LearningRx, I must admit, I was a little apprehensive. I've been to countless tutor-like help programs and all fell short of my expectations. When I started, however, I was excited and incredibly surprised about how fun the program was and how I was beginning to see, even small improvements within the first few sessions. I was overjoyed because in college there were concepts that I finally understood, even when they seemed impossible during high school. Subjects that I struggled with in high school, like chemistry, became like a breeze. I cannot even begin to describe how LearningRx and my trainer, Alanna, changed my life.
After my sessions at LearningRx, I was offered a Peer Tutor position by the head of the tutoring department at my University because of my drastic improvements. I found that doing daily tasks are simple and well organized. I got a promotion at work because of how well I was doing. Even simple things like my reflexes drastically improved because my attention is now more focused. I also found that my IQ jumped up almost 30 points. Best of all, I am now more confident in my abilities, and in myself. I have self-confidence like I never have before and thanks to LearningRx I can't wait to see what life has in store for me.
I am currently saving up my money right now so I can start another program.

Learning RX is the best money you can invest on a struggling child. We used to spend 2-3 hours a night fighting to get homework done. Now she rarely has homework. Her confidence has improved significantly along with her attitude. We tried counseling, a.d.d. medication, but RX was the solution. The staff are informative, friendly and helpful all around phenomenal. more »
