Established in 2010. It was 1977 when Chuck Woodstock opened the first Woodstock's Pizza near Oregon State in Corvallis, Oregon. His goal was to create a fun, student oriented pizzeria that dished up amazing pies using his grandmother's marinara recipe. We are from Phoenix but stay in Pacific Beach about 6-8 weeks out of the year. My wife & I love their pizza. Their red sauce is the best we have ever had. Service is good, place is clean. Free parking in the back. If you ever stay in Pacific Beach we highly recommend that you try them out.
Very viby atmosphere, good sports. We sat by the firepit out front. Five stars are for the onions on top of our pizza, though. All of the toppings and sauce were good but these were the best onions I've ever eaten. And I've eaten my fair share of straight raw onions, so I know. Perfectly juicy, a little smoky from the grill, just cooked enough they were the perfect texture and taste. Not too onion-y but not a limp, tasteless worm like cooked onions often are. Also, juicy shrooms.
Pretty good pizza, great atmosphere, good wings. All in the middle of PB. Got half white bird, half combination. The white sauce wasnt heavy, like other pizza joints. But the combination was amazing. Nothing like fresh out of the oven pizza with fresh crust and cheese. Oh, and bottom of crust had some crisp.
The pizza is delicious! The cauliflower crust is my favorite. I love how it gets nice and crispy. My kids love the classic cheese. Get the cinnabread. So dang good!
I ordered the Kickin' Carnitas and it was very good, probably one of the most flavorful pizzas I've ever had. That sauce is a kick in the mouth. The pizza had Carnitas, bacon, red onion and cilantro. The crust was good. They fold the sauce into the crust. Pretty cool. The price was reasonable and my order was ready when I arrived.
