This was my first visit to this location of 54th Street Grill and I was pretty impressed! We visited on a Friday evening around 7:00pm, and although it was crowded, we only waited 5 minutes to be seated. They have a huge menu, but we saw they have this 'Dinner for Two' special that includes 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and a dessert for $39 - not a bad price! First let me say our server Alexis was fantastic! However, our table of 10 African Americans customers with great incomes felt targeted by two managers (Ethan and David) on two separate occasions. Why!? Alexis moved two high top tables to accommodate the party. WE did not move ourselves! When we were moved, it appeared we created a fire hazard. Again, we did NOT move ourselves! My first time at any 54th street bar n grill! I was not disappointed! Didn't want anything too heavy so I just tried thier soup n salad lunch combo. Very inexpensive and excellent! I chose the loaded baked potato soup... it was amazing! I paired it with the summer salad! I will have them both again! Highly recommended 👌 👍 👏 💯 🙌
54th street is one of our go to restaurants. For the past 9 years, we have been served consistent delicious food and drinks. Two of my new favorites the uncommon "Turkey Club Sandwich" and the BEST side choice ever glazed Brussel sprouts- YUMMY!
I wouldn't say is a bad place, but I would definitely say is nothing short of just a regular true Texan place. From the food portions to the decoration, I haven't visited any other place that screams "traditional" American food as this place. Now, that being said, I don't think is something bad and I would for sure come back for a meal. Just won't crave it as I would other places I've visited.
