There’s a really nice lady in the phone who was very helpful. The guys in the actual office are not. One never took his face out of his phone, the other seemed like it was his first day. The “price” they have on the website is not what you end up paying. They get you in there with the 50% off your first month and then AFTER you’ve signed and handed over your card they tell you about the “one-time administration fee” lol. Every person who works A1 Self Storage on Vineland is awesome. I was not expecting how friendly, welcoming and helpful they would be. They made my stressful move a little bit easier. Customer service is a lost thing theses days but this team know how to deliver. Very pleased I chose this location
DO NOT RENT A UNIT HERE! Unless you are 100% fine with the employees going IN your unit and rearranging your belongings, opening boxes and bags...I mean who does that?! I have proof that this was done and am disgusted that a buissness like this is still going. I would recommend not giving them your money-from renting a unit and from buying a unit via auction.
Great experience from the moment I walked in the door. Russell was very kind and informative and they have plenty of space for any storage needs you have, I’m very grateful to have found this place. Thank you again
Russel helped me with a unit at the North Hollywood location. He was very friendly and thorough about the rules in the space, and the unit was clean and easy to access. Highlights about this place -- oddly enough it's the music playing. Moving stuff into storage isn't a ton of fun, but the music keeps me in a good mood. The elevator is easy to use and actually moves at a normal pace. The carts are easy to rent. It's clean. Not a ton else you can ask for.
