My shih tzu Zeke developed disc disease and was paralyzed at age 2 years. Other vets told me I needed urgent neurosurgery at Davis for about $5-10,000! That wasn't going to happen for many reasons. The vets at Abbey gave alternative medical treatment. Now Zeke is a happy 6 year old that loves his (almost) daily walks. They saved our lives!
Always a pleasant experience during a unpleasant time (it's never fun when your fur baby is ill). The Doctors, Assistants, and Staff are always friendly, understanding, and most importantly thorough! I hate having to come here, but I have never had a bad experience when I have too!
I have been taking all my pets to this hospital since the late 70's to date, and never had a bad experience, they treat us with respect, yesterday was a very hard time letting BOO BOO go, and they all knew the way to handle it, from the front door, to the end of BOO BOO's life, all of them give me the best way to keep me calmed, from the nurse, technician and doctor, they were so tender taking care of her, I do really love them, Thank you for being so considerate: Abby Pet Hospital
