Deck restaining We used Absolute for a handyman job and were very happy. But our deck re-staining project (solid colour) didn't go well. They emphasized the importance of the deck being dry. When the painters came, it had rained earlier that week and there was rain forecast for the next day. The painter said that the stain would dry in a few hours and it wouldn't be a problem. Deck Staining Normally I would not leave a review such as this, but I really wish I had known about the quality of their work before we hired them. We had Absolute stain our deck. Upon completion we recognized the quality was not the same as we were used to. Some boards looked like they had not been sanded adequately as the stain did not take, there were paint brush streaks on boards & railings, stain drippings, etc. By the Fall, we realized how bad the deck looked. Polymeric Sand Driveway Last October 2020, I paid $1100 for Absolute Home Services to polymeric sand my driveway. The sand should last for at least five years. Less than a year later, my driveway has numerous ant hills and lots of weeds growing between the interlock brick - the sand was supposed to prevent this happening. They redid part of the driveway in the spring, but didn't use polymeric sand, so it was a useless effort. I am very disappointed. What a waste of my money.

Really disappointed The service is to treat the bumpy area in my lawn. After the treatment the lawn's condition didn't improve much. I've sent two email within three weeks trying to discuss the situation and see if any follow up suggestions from the owner. Yet the two emails were totally ignored and got no reply by anyone. The service is totally unacceptable.

Repaired closet door, installed front closet door, installed toilet The gentlemen came in a timely manner, were efficient and polite. However, within 6 months, both closet door repairs failed, and our toilet is wobbly (slightly). I contacted Absolute regarding the toilet repair only and am still waiting for a reply 2 months later. Cedar deck sealing, exterior windows painting We hired Absolute Home Services this Summer to paint the exterior of our window frames and seal our brand new cedar deck. The Absolute Home Services’ staff was courteous, responsive, punctual, and the crew on site was also accommodating to our requests on the job. House Aluminum Siding, Garage Doors, Door Entrance & Lintels Painted it is now about 10 month my house siding and garage doors were painted by Absolute Home Services and i have to report, I am not at all happy. initially i gave a good review, however, since the job was completed, i now note areas on both the siding and the garage doors where they have not been painted properly, with the original colours clearly visible. i also the paint lifting off on spots of the siding as not adhering to the original paint. Interior Painting While the team was friendly and conducted themselves professionally (for the most part) we were very disappointed with the work provided.
