Ordered raw oysters and they didn’t look the best. Not served on a tray of ice. Gumbo was ok. Red beans and rice was good, kids loved their burgers.
We ordered food it took an hour to receive items that should have been pre made. Ordered the combo meal of gumbo, red beans and rice, and jambalaya. Terrible. Not authentic. Had crab cakes and definitely were not fresh. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone vacationing and we are locals.
Disgusting, made me sick, looked like chewed up and spit out sea food on top of a piece of catfish! DO NOT GO HERE!
First of all, we had 15 people in our group for a special birthday dinner. Each person became very ill within minutes of eating. From, stomach cramps, diarrhea to nausea. A complete disappointment. Add on the expense which made it a complete bust. Not to mention the waitress told one of us to NOT order the potato salad because it’s terrible. Make sure oysters are cleaned properly so ppl aren't munching on shells...
AVOID AT ALL COSTS..... if you’re trying to get a table at 8:15p. Who closes @ 8:30p on spring break weeks? Service started out good and then took a nose dive from food delivery to final check. Must be making a killing to close so early 🤔 Other than that, the chargrilled oysters are off the charts. 👍🏼
One of our favorite places! Yet tonight we came and spent over $200+ and because we were playing a friendly game of cards, we were rudely asked to hurry up and leave. We still had a 1/4 of a bottle of wine to finish. The person that came to our table stated abruptly that they are not a card house, embarrassed us and then wanted to argue about the length of time we had been there. would not serve me oysters.
We had the oysters there and they were so small. On the way out we noticed on of the locals who had ordered the same thing but there's was way bigger. I guess you have to be a local to get better food. The one at new Orleans was much better and bigger
