I went in on Monday April 15th I was told I need surgery. Dr Balardo had already done the PRK 2x. So they send me to this place now saying I have a cataract , have not heard back from them. The first time the excuse was that he was out. The second time they told me that he would be in on Wednesday and would call me on Thursday. It’s already May 18th and not heard from him or anyone in that office. So maybe he will or NOT call or he is gone again or will call next year on a Thursday. I have both Good & bad experiences with this place. Good: Dr. Moore & Dr. Brooks are both great people very nice and listen to you Alyson the Optician is WONDERFUL Bad: THEIR BILLING COMPANY. First off I distinctly told them NOT to bill the health care insurance because it wouldn’t be covered. Guess what they billed.....the health insurance. So I have been dealing with bills for an appt almost a year ago trying to get it straightened out!!!!
SHADY essentially sums up my experience here. Where to start... here: I have thought about Lasik for some time and seen several specialists. All have told me I was an exceptional candidate for any version of corrective surgery and should have no problem with it. Thick corneas, slight vision correction needed, etc. So in search for a deal, I purchased a Groupon for Lasik through this business. $1099 for both eyes.
