Despite being fit, I have been suffering from back pain due to a couple of disc herniations. I consulted with my neurosurgeon and a pain management specialist. Both recommended that I would find significant relief from undergoing lumbar decompression, so I reached out to Advanced Physical Therapy. The first PT I saw 2x and he was polite and cordial he did not seem to know what to do for me. He also made me feel like he wasn’t taking my issue seriously. The second PT I saw at my third appointment was very nice and friendly but he did not seem to know what to do for me either. He did seem to take me a bit more serious. I left the appointments feeling defeated. I got the impression that they didn’t know how to handle “back pain”.
