Dr. Chace cancelled our daughters Guinea Pig follow-up appt in the morning of the scheduled appt because they didn't like us getting upset that they twice messed up his meds. Once he gave us wrong meds, yup! His staff argued with us and finally realized it was wrong after we had been giving it to him. Our 2nd time the dosage mistakenly doubled! We were giving to him wrong again! He had told us the pig might have cancer and yet cancelled hours before the appt. His office mgr. very rude and has no customer skills. He is too ... read more
Sadly this place has lost my business and I'm going elsewhere to treat my exotic pets. I do understand that many businesses have set certain protocols in place since the pandemic, but refusing to see 3 of my pets in one day is extremely ridiculous! I have 3 sugar gliders, and the office has a maximum limit of 2 animals per appointment. Which I can understand, BUT I was refused to make 2 appointments for the same day (see two sugar gliders during one appointment, and the last one during during the 2nd appointment). Dr Chase was my Sadie’s Dr for 6 yrs. when I needed him the most ( the day Sadie died) he said he was to busy to see her. He recommended I see another Dr on staff. The other Dr also caused a Problem for me when on another occasion Dr Chase was not in. So I took my Sadie to a emergency center in west Hartford. She went over the rainbow ridge that day. Days and weeks went buy without any condolence from Dr Chase or the staff. It broke my heart.
