Food was okay, not great. Service was very good. The biggest issue was the restaurant was freezing. I even asked to be seated someplace warm when we arrived. Several people had their coats on while eating dinner.

Ask for the lovely waitress from South Africa. She is friendly, experienced and takes good care of you. We always go for the early dining prime rib meal, and are never disappointed. If you don’t care for the olive oil dip for the bread, ask for real butter. It’s creamy and comes out in nice cubes. I would recommend a stop here at Alexander’s when you come to Hilton Head for a visit.

Great dining experience with exceptional service. The view of the water way was a nice back drop. Our server Angela was very attentive and provided some the best service we can remember. The prime rib, shrimp and grits, and the low country crab soup were superb. Hold our table, we will be back soon.

This is our second time eating here. We love the tables along the lagoon for watching wildlife. It's quiet and enjoyable. Our server was amazing - friendly and very attentive. We liked the early bird specials and we prefer smaller portions. All in all will return each time we stay on HHI.
