We were a party of 4 adults. When Alexander’s was under previous ownership, we ate there often with each trip to Hilton Head. Several yrs. ago, under new ownership, we felt it had gone way downhill. Decided to give it another go last night. Everyone was happy with their meals except for me. I got weiner schnitzel which was always my favorite. It was almost inedible. As requested, we were seated at a river view table and warmly greeted by our server Angela. She clearly described the chef’s specials for the day and took our cocktail orders. By the time our cocktails arrived we had selected our appetizer ( a very generous serving of perfectly lightly-battered fritto misto) and entrees (the signature Wiener schnitzel and the blackened scallops special).
