Alexander’s has been a yearly tradition for us for the past 20 years when we come to HHI. Great food and service in a beautiful location

Overrated, plenty of other places that are easier to get into with better drinks and ambiance. We were seated in the bar and the food was good but I was expecting much more I think. If the drinks were better this would have been a 4 instead of a 3. Not hard to make a good drink that is full. Also the water did not taste good. They need to filter it. The oil that they serve with bread was amazing! We also had a nice water view. Seasonal salad was very good and fresh.

We love Alexander’s! More of an “old school”Hilton Head restaurant than nouveau cuisine but a good, well rounded menu with something for everyone which we appreciate. Delicious beet, mandarin oranges, feta, pecans and melon salad last night with a nice light Champagne vinaigrette dressing for a starter. My wife and I both chose the filet which was grilled perfectly medium rare with scrumptious sautéed mushrooms and real mashed potatoes and a simple sauce. Delicious!
