I'm a vegetarian dining with a non-vegetarian. There was no vegetarian entree on the menu, so I asked our waiter if there was a vegetarian option they could offer. She graciously said yes and we talked about some sautéed veggies and how I would like it prepared (cooked with wine, olive oil,l & garlic, etc) and over a bed of rice (yes). The resulting dish was flavorful and light, and delicious. I also had the "Seasonal salad" which was endive, arugula, beets, goat cheese and a light dressing. Yum.

Alexander’s has always been a favorite of ours on the island. We both ordered the prime rib which was perfectly cooked to order, mashed potatoes were silky and so tasty and the price for early dining is a good value. The only negative was that our appetizers arrived about 5 minutes after our cocktails and we felt we didn’t have time to really enjoy the excellent cosmo.

Had the early dining menu. Everything was very good. We were seated in the bar and it was really loud. Would recommend eating in the dining room instead.
