Excellent food and service. This is a legit good restaurant, which was surprising given its location in a tourist beach area.
I first had dinner at Alexander's as a child back in 1985 - It was the first time I had Prime Rib at a restaurant. I hadn't been to Hilton Head since I was a teenager in 1993 but I spent last week there with my wife and 2 kids. I saw Alexander's was still open so I made the reservation. I don't think I'd ever been so nervous for a night out...could a restaurant live up to the memories and expectations of 30 plus years ago? We dined last Thursday and it did and then some!
