Early bird was good and bad. The 8 oz Prime Rib was excellent, but the stuffed flounder imperial was lost on the plate with the mashed potato and vegetable. The portion was so small that it was very disappointing. The she crab soup that came with the early bird dinner is served in a wide rimmed bowl with no more than 1/3 of a cup of soup. It was tasty, but almost silly in the amount served. The ranch dressing on the salad was actually blue cheese. Go for the Prime Rib, but don't go too hungry!!
Great service at this restaurant. Our waitress was so pleasant. Food was very good. We had a water view which was a nice bonus. Not noisy which we liked.
Server’s timing was a little off, but still enjoyed our meal
Excellent crab soup, oysters Alexander, Flounder and crab cakes were amazing. Staff very busy and attentive to the customer needs without overly checking. Thanks for a great evening of delicious food. Worth a visit but get a reservation as they book up a day or two in advance during weekends and peak times. See you on our next visit!
We have visited Hilton Head a number of times, but never been to Alexander’s. This was our second visit and we love it. Great atmosphere, food and service, what more do you want.
Disappointed this year. Prime rib was fair but the wreck fish was excellent but over priced. My mistake to not ask the price of the “special”.
