I was looking forward to try this place based on the reviews but I was a little disappointed. The special appetizer seafood boat was delivered quick but they never brought plates for the shells or small forks for the crab we have to ask for it. Also they didn’t replace the utensils after so when the meal came which it took long specially after the appetizers came so quick, so I had to ask for a knife. Alexander’s has always been the restaurant of choice on our final night in Hilton Head before heading home. We make our reservation for 5:00 p.m. and order from the “early bird menu” which gives you so many delicious choices. We have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Carolyn, who was assigned to our table, was prompt, courteous and such a delight. We enjoyed talking with her and she made us feel very welcome. Our waiter, Donna, was very pleasant, attentive and efficient. The Crab Soup was wonderful. The Flounder was overcooked and the asparagus, although cooked properly, were not very good.
Wonderful place to eat! Kind, thoughtful servers, excellent food and quick service! We will definitely eat here again
