I first had dinner at Alexander's as a child back in 1985 - It was the first time I had Prime Rib at a restaurant. I hadn't been to Hilton Head since I was a teenager in 1993 but I spent last week there with my wife and 2 kids. I saw Alexander's was still open so I made the reservation. I don't think I'd ever been so nervous for a night out...could a restaurant live up to the memories and expectations of 30 plus years ago? We dined last Thursday and it did and then some! Delicious food. Lovely, relaxed setting. Our favorite meal on the island.
