Our last evening at the Marriott in Hilton Head Island. I had eaten at Alexander several years ago with the health association I was involved with. I wanted my husband to experience the excellent dinner environment and I was not disappointed. The staff and food was all I remembered and had told many of my friend when they said they were going to HHI.

The food was excellent overall. We had prime rib, filet mignon and lobster tail, crab soup and oysters Alexander. The polenta was disappointing and the asparagus was not very flavorful, but the main dishes and appetizers were very good. Drink selections were also very good. The view of the creek is very nice, and it’s great that it can be enjoyed from the air conditioned space on a hot day. Date night with my wife. Outstanding service, food and wine. Eric the bar tender was great while we waited at the bar. Fantastic drink offerings and selection.
We are regular visitors to Hilton Head but had not tried Alexander's. The food was incredible, definitely one of the best restaurants on the island. Service was awesome, and we got to witness a proposal while we were there.
My family and I visited Alexander’s last week (over 4th of July) while on vacation in HH. We were very impressed with the entire experience and how responsive they were with social distancing and sanitizing expectations during Covid. It was very easy to make reservations for a group of 8 and the atmosphere was extremely welcoming and accommodating for both adults and kids. The food was amazing and fresh! Seafood special w risotto was good but lots of flavors in one meal also$$. Crab cakes done well. Prime rib perfectly done
