Amazingly good crab cakes, and a superb prime rib. Great service. An excellent wine list--including by the glass. All set in a lovely room with a view of the lagoon, and great atmosphere and lighting. when my wife's prime rib came out more rare than she ordered, the manager fixed that in an instant!!! There may be a better overall dining experience in Hilton Head, but we have not yet found it.
Another great dinning experience at one of our favorite places
We have been coming to Hilton Head for 14 years and Alexander’s is one of our favorite places to eat! The food is always spot on, friendly and professional staff, and the ambiance is perfect for a date night!
The service was great. Food was fabulous. Venue is wonderful with a great view. Only problem was our reservation was for 5 pm. We arrived a few minutes early, but were not allowed in. Seemed awkward to have to wait in the parking lot until the exact time.
Our dinner at Alexander’s was great. We had a table with a view of the lagoon. Our server as well as others who tended to our table was outstanding. The food was very tasty. We will return!
This was our second visit. We had a party of 6. The service was strange for all courses. The food/cocktails were not brought out for everyone at the same time. Most of us had the prime rib which was excellent. I had the spinach salad with a warm dressing. It was less than impressive. The desert menu was not at the expected level for this restaurant.
