It has been years since moving from Hilton Head and years since my last visit to this restaurant which is essentially unchanged from how I remember it. It has a pleasant ambiance although our requested seating at waters edge could not be accommodated because of a large wine tasting group which monopolized the best seating. We have lived in Bluffton 4-1/2 years and have never been to Alexanders. We wanted to go someplace different for our anniversary. We were not disappointed. Ambiance was very nice, they wished us a happy anniversary and brought us a lovely dessert. The calamari appetizer was excellent, good wine choices, and the entree presentation was very nice. We went with another couple, and we were all pleased with our meal and service. We will definitely go back.
The service was excellent. Our waitress was so attentive. The food was fabulous. And the dessert was out of this world. We will visit Alexander’s every year after this.
