When we come down to Hilton Head from Northern Virginia, we alway love to eat at Alexander's! It never disappoints!!!
Very impressed with the combination of vegetables used with the Tuna. The Tuna was also cooked perfect, nice dark sear on the outside with a thin grey line between the sear and the rare Tuna. Most places don't know how to sear Tuna. It is usually slightly warmed up, not seared. Really enjoyed the vegetables and rice with the Tuna. My wife had shrimp and grits and I tried them as well. This is an excellent restaurant in the Palmetto Dunes area of Hilton Head. The food service and ambiance are fantastic.
Everything was delicious! They even provided a free dessert for our anniversary. We were, however, disappointed that an advertised and obvious "Upscale" restaurant did not enforce a dress code and most were dressed much too casual.
Pretty setting on a lagoon. Good food and excellent service.
I was surprised how many diners had on beach clothes rather than the requested business casual. This is an upscale restaurant and part of that experience is dressing up!
